KnowYourStaff offers the fastest and most statistically
valid online testing available for eyecare professionals. The assessment
process is as simple as 1-2-3. Here’s how it works:
1. Register your practice. If you are a new client,
simply click the ‘New User Registration’ link on the
KnowYourStaff Home Page to register your practice,
and obtain a username and password. Returning clients will simply
log in at the Home Page. This will give you 24-hour access to testing
on KnowYourStaff's website.
2. Set up the employee or candidate to take an assessment.
Setting up an employee or candidate takes little more than clicking
on ‘Single Assessment’ or ‘Multiple Assessments’
in the User Menu, and entering the name and position of the employee(s)
or candidate(s) to be assessed. When the employee or candidate signs
in, they will be presented with a series of multiple choice questions
to answer online. The entire process takes only 20-45 minutes to
complete. (Actual time will depend on the type of assessment selected.)
The assessment can be administered at any computer with Internet
access, from any location.
3. Review report and incorporate results into the staff
management or hiring process. Within minutes of completion,
assessment results are tabulated, and a comprehensive, easy-to-interpret
report is automatically forwarded to you as an Acrobat Reader pdf
by e-mail. Your report will include a chart that compares the employee
or candidate to the critical traits that are unique to ‘peak
performing’ eyecare employees for the position specified.
The '16 Point Profile' also includes descriptions of potential
assets and limitations, with suggested interview questions to help
you further assess job candidates. Although no assessment tool will
replace human judgment, the KnowYourStaff report will
help you make much better decisions in terms of hiring new employees
and placing the staff you have now in the right roles.
